SERC presented its first Electronic Field Trip live from our dock, Reed education center, and research labs on April 30, 2002.

Over 20 million students from 19 states watched Where the River Meets the Sea: Exploring Life in the Chesapeake Bay with Smithsonian Scientists, which was distributed free via satellite, Internet, and local PBS stations.
