Step 6: Publishing and Presenting

Publishing your results is an important component of any research project. Within the STAR program we want to help you get your results seen by a larger audience.

First of all, submit the report you have written to SERC and we will post it on this website under Student Publications.

SERC also hosts an annual STAR symposium at which you will present your work, either with an oral presentation or a poster.

In addition, there are other ways to publish your results. STAR staff will assist students in finding ways to publish their results. Some papers may be selected for publication as "student papers" in scientific journals, or form the basis for a presentation at a conference.
