Student Training in Aquatic Research (STAR) enables students to create and implement environmental research projects related to the Chesapeake Bay and its watershed. Download the STAR brochure (pdf).
STAR is aligned with learning standards for Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. The program's classroom preparation, outdoor experiences, and analysis and publication activities align with standards for science, mathematics, language arts, and civics and government.
