Volunteers are needed to help remove kelp from floating docks and to collect and record data. It's a fun way to do something great for the bay. The volunteer effort begins at 9 am each day and typically last until noon or 1:00pm. Volunteers will be scouring the docks and boats for this invasive kelp and pulling up kelp that can be reached easily by bending down or lying on the docks. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a beach towel to kneel on. Dress in layers, wear clothes that they don't mind getting dirty, and make sure to bring water, snacks, hat and sunscreen. The removals are dependent on the weather so please RSVP and check your email the night before. RSVP to marineinvaders@gmail.com
