We need your help to stop the spread of introduced species!
Observant thoughtful citizens are critical in reducing the spread and negative impact of non-native species. In the effort to fight the spread of invasive species we are asking you to look for, photograph, and report sightings of problem species threatening to invade new areas along our coasts. There are currently three species in which we are activity seeking information, Asian Kelp, Wakame (Undaria pinnatifida); the Chinese Mitten Crab (Eriocheir sinensis), and the tunicates such as D vex (Didemnum vexillum).
