Ceratium symmetricum

A very robust cell. Cell length running 150-200µ. It is an interoceanic species appearing up and down the east coast of South America from the north coast of Brazil to the Straits of Florida. This sample came from "the cut", a channel between Carrie Bow and South Water Cays off Belize. December 2007.
