 
Condylostoma tardum
Condylostoma are one of the larger ciliates found in micro-zooplankton and is an important grazer. These examples have been feeding heavily on a Gymnodinium/Gyrodinium dinoflagellate species. They are found during late spring and early summer in the Rhode River.
