Hemiaulus sinensis

In general appearance this species is similar to E. zoodiacus. It differs with its
more delicate features and the thinner and longer processes. Sample was collected by net tow in early November 2002 from St. Mary's River in southern Maryland. It prefers higher salinity and seldom ventures to the mid or upper reaches of the Chesapeake bay. Salinity at time of collection was 20ppt.
