Stephanopyxis palmeriana - girdle and valve views 

Diameter of valve 71µ to 92µ. Average total volume is 5.4x10⁵ cubic microns. Found in temperate warm waters. Appears in mid-bay areas when salinity and water temperature is high at the end of the summer. Collected in September 2001 in main bay area.
