Known for its star-shape or geometrical designs. Size 3µ wide, 42µ long, 5µ height, total volume 494.8. Temp. range 11.5 to 28.13C, salinity range 6.9 to 16.93ppt. Cosmopolitan in warm temperate to tropical waters. Collected June to Nov. from Rhode River stations and from the Chesapeake Bay.
