Common species in temperate and tropical estuaries. Size 11um wide, 15um long, total volume 950.33. Temp. range 8.52 to 28.35 C, salinity range 8.0 to 16.0. Collected Feb. to Dec. from all Rhode River stations and in the Chesapeake Bay.
