Size 23um wide, 36um long, total volume 11069.2. Temp. range 2.5 to 31.58C, salinity range 0 to 16ppt. Fixation frequently alters the shape of this species. The photos above are typical of Scrippsiella found in the Rhode River. Collected May to Nov. from all Rhode River stations in the Chesapeake Bay.
