Errerella bornhemiensis

Triangular-shaped colony with clusters of four cells, each with a delicate tapering spine. Colonies can reach upward to 250 cells. Possibly under-reported because of likeness to Micractinium colonies. (See Wehr and Sheath in Taxonomic References.) Sample collected from Back River Near Baltimore, August 2003.
