My research project tested the hypothesis that the stomach content of top predators in estuarine habitats is a good indicator of the quality of that habitat. Of the four top predators assessed; focus was placed mainly on Morone americana (White Perch). The results showed a relationship between stomach content and habitat quality although the specifics of said relationship still remain unknown.
