Contee Farm Hike
Hike into history on this guided walk to the ruins of the Sparrows Rest and Java Plantation on SERC's new property. We'll talk about the changes of the land from the early Native Americans through Colonial times and into the Present. Some uphill walking is required, wear long pants and hiking shoes.

Adult Nature Retreat
Join us for this day long Fall retreat. This retreat is designed for becoming more aware of nature through all our senses. For this exploration we will hike and canoe, take time for self-guided meditation, and participate in a class on drawing in nature. Cost is $45 and includes a light continental breakfast. Valentines in Nature
It's courting time in nature as animals gear up for spring. In this program, designed for adults, we will explore how animals attract mates, the dynamics of courtship and reproduction, and what really goes on in the love life of animals, from barnacles and house crickets to mice and bower birds.
