| abstract | Tethering techniques were used to assess sources of and temporal variation in juvenile blue crab mortality as a function of water depth in the nearshore shallows of the Rhode River subestuary. Twenty-five crabs were tethered at each of 3 depths and were checked for mortality at 24 and 48 hours. |
